All Classroom and Online Defensive Driving Courses:
- Fully approved and DMV certified for your insurance premium discounts.
- A Digital Certificate of Completion will be emailed to participants to the personal email address provided at the time of the class, between 10 - 14 days of completion.
- A 3-point credit is added onto your DE driver's license upon completion of the class.
- Must arrive 15 minutes prior to class.
- Must provide driver's license.
Basic Defensive Driving Classes
- Basic Classes are for anyone who has not previously taken a Defensive Driving course within three (3) years.
- In-Person Class length: 6 hours - Online Class at your own pace.
Advanced Defensive Classes (Refresher)
- Advanced/Refresher classes are taken within three (3) years after the Basic Course in order to keep their policies up to date.
- In-Person Class length: 3 hours - Online Class at your own pace.
Behavior Modification Classes
- The DSC offers Behavior Modification classes for all three counties in Delaware. Please call for upcoming dates and to register. This course is not available online. Class length: 8 hours
