Personal Safety and Security for Seniors


This Course assists seniors in developing a mindset for safety and security in the home, while traveling and in various venues and  to develop the ability to recognize potentially unsafe environments and situations.

Emphasis will be on the participants developing safety habits such as; ensuring their residence (when at home) and car (when traveling) is secured. Encourages participants to develop a family/community of support and awareness towards a safe environmental lifestyle. 

Seniors will become aware of the increased vulnerabilities that come with aging, however will become aware that such vulnerabilities do not have to negatively affect one's quality-of-life when a mindset for safety and security is adopted and maintained. Class Length: 2 Hours

Courses is available at Member and Non-Member group pricing for 20 or more attendees and can be presented at your location or scheduled at the Delaware Safety Council Training Center located at: 2 Penns Way, Suite 201, New Castle, DE 19720
